It was not until 1965 that the Federal Republic of Germany and Israel established diplomatic relations. But already in the fall of 1948 an Israeli consulate was opened in Munich. However, it was not considered an institution that maintained official relations with Germany, but with the Western occupying powers (USA, Great Britain and France). The consulate was mainly there for the needs of the Jewish displaced persons who were staying in DP camps in Bavaria.

The cemetery probably exists since the end of the 17th century. The oldest gravestone dates from 1748. In the period after 1933 the cemetery was closed, the gravestones were sold. The stones made of basalt and granite were further used. Some stones were found after the war by a stonemason and were put up again. Today there are 22 stones and a memorial column in the cemetery.

The roots of the Landeshut Linen and Gebildweberei F.V.Grünfeld were laid by Falk Valentin with the establishment and opening of a first fashion, cut and white goods shop in July 1862 in Landeshut-Unter den Lauben am Markt.1873 F.V. Grünfeld expanded his business with a mail order business, with which he then also served a large customer base abroad.
