Hat and cloth factory Steinberg, with residential, administrative and production building (today Kreissparkasse). In 1921, the Steinberg company fusinonized with the Jewish Herrmann family. In 1922 and 1923, the architect and friend of the Herrmann family, Erich Mendelsohn, designed a complex with a dyeworks, power station and gatehouses. The building in Dahmer Strasse served the company thereafter as an administrative building.
The expressive wall design features a trapezoidal upper roof.
