After staying in Poland, 1936 via France, the Pyrenees to Spain, fighter with the International Brigades. Internment by the Francists. Prisoner exchange, 1945 Rückehr to Germany as a soldier in the British Army. 

In the address book of the city of Fürth from 1895, the following entry can be found: Nattenheimer, Bernhard, Reisender, Bahnhofstra;e 3.

Jakob Regensteiner was born on 21.10.1864 in Ulm. The parents were Sigmund Regensteiner from Pflaumloch / Ulm and Regina Regensteiner, née Gift from Hainsfarth. The ancestors of Jakob Regensteiner can be traced back in Pflaumloch (Riesbürg) to the 16th/17th century.Jakob Regensteiner married on  23.08.1905 in München  Hedwig Regensteiner, née Kahn, born on 12.09.1882 in München, The couple had one son, - Walter Sigmund, born on 22.12.1907 in München. Jakob Regensteiner was a cigar wholesaler.

On October 1, 1935, the Jewish New Year, Rosh ha-Shanah, passers-by in Berlin's Scheunenviertel saw an unusual sight: They saw a blue-and-white flag hanging from a window of the house at Linienstrasse 196.

According to the Ravenstein plan of 1861, the house Klostergasse 59 was located exactly opposite  the exit of the street " Am Judenbrückchen ". In 1937, during the redevelopment of Frankfurt's Old Town, the houses in the northern part of Klostergasse were demolished. In 1944, during an air raid in 1944, the area around the Klostergasse was völlig destroyed.

In the Jüdisches Adressbuch für Groß-Berlin edition 1929/1930 finds the following entry: Dr. med. Hugo Eckstein, Dahlem, Altensteinstraße 19.

Artur Lauinger was born in Augsburg in 1879 as the son of the hop merchant Heinrich Lauinger and his wife Flora, née Liebmann.
