Hermann Gunzenhäuser, born on February 22, 1860 in Memmelsdorf  as the son of the merchant David Gunzenhäuser and his wife Jette, née Nordheimer. 1895 - Married to Rosalie Rosenfelder from Bamberg. In 1895 Hermann Gunzenhäuser ran a cloth and buckskin shop at Kaiserstra;e 12. In 1909 Hermann Gunzenhäuser opened an agency for textile goods at Kaiserstra;e 7. On February 17, 1927 Hermann Gunzenhäuser died. After that his widow Rosalie Gunzenhäuser together with her nephew and partner Richard Worms managed the company until its dissolution in 1935.

Grünfeld expanded his business with a mail order business, with which he then also served a large customer base abroad.
