The Hasall men's clothing store was opened in 1932 by Hans Salomon at Poststra<e 1.

On April 1, 1933, the store was affected by the boycott campaign of the NSDAP like other companies owned by Jewish owners.

In the November pogrom night of 1938, the shop windows of his business were smashed and furnishings and goods were scattered on the street.

Publishing & Printing and Pension Pörutz

The siblings Siegmund and Margarete Pörutz ran a publishing house with a print shop and a boarding house with six beds in Heringsdorf.

On February 12, 1940, the siblings were deported to the Piaski Luterskie ghetto via Stettin and Lublin.

Magarete Pörutz, born on March 27, 1880 in Anklam, died there on August 16, 1940, Siemund Pörutz, born on April 18, 1874 in Anklam, died in the Piaski Luterskie ghetto on December 2, 1941.

Saulmann - Kaufhaus für Textilien und Mode

Erich Saulmann was born on January 14, 1899 in Heringsdorf. He was married to Elisabeth Saulmann, née Reihs (* February 25, 1906 in Teplitz-Sch nau) and had three children with her (Ilse Rose Saulmann, * May 29, 1928 - Hilde Ruth Saulmann, * August 2, 1930 - Eva-Karla Saulmann, * March 6, 1936).

Erich Saulmann ran a department store for textiles and fashion in Heringsdorf. Boycott and expropriation were followed by the deportation of the Saulmann family on February 12, 1940

The address book of the city of Karlsruhe from 1937 contains the following entry: Baer Max, Eisenwarenhandlung, Gartenstraöe 12. - In the fall of 1935, Max Baer, exporter of small ironware to France, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland and the French colonies, applied for a foreign passport. The Karlsruhe Chamber of Industry and Commerce approved the application with reference to Baer's monthly export earnings of 15,000 Reichsmarks and the fact that the French competition was trying to make it impossible for Baer to continue its business activities.

Simon Guthmann von Hamm, born in 1836  was married to Emilie Heidweyer von Worms, born in 1839. He came to Worms in the middle of the 19th century and settled at Paulusstra e 3 as a malt manufacturer and grain merchant. Simon and Emilie Guthmann had four children - Bernhard, born on 1.9.1862 in Worms, - Rosa, - born on 7.5.1866 in Worms, Ludwig, born on 24.8.1871 in Worms  and Max, born on 11.5.1874 in Worms.

The roots of the Landesprodktenhandlung " Gebrüder Abraham " go back to Ober-Olm in 1848/1849 to the brothers Bernhard and Alexander Abraham. Both were house owners in Ober-Olm and ran a trading business in agricultural products from there. Alexander Abraham was married to Rosalie Kaufmann from Marienborn. The couple had three children - Karl, born in 1857, Ludwig, born on May 15, 1852 and Raphael Leopold, who died at the age of 8.

The address book of the city of Munich from 1926 contains the following entry: Dreifuß & Danziger Getreidegroßhandlung Senefelderstr. 6/1, F 58493 u. 57810 ( owner Ferdinand Dreifuß u. Hans Danziger ). -Hans Danziger was one of the 104 Jewish members of FC Bayern Munich and one of the 52 members who managed to emigrate to a safe foreign country, the USA. From the 1920s until his resignation in 1933, he was active in the youth department of FC Bayern Munich.

David Littmann was born on July 12, 1882 in the USA. He bought a pharmacy in 1928. He was considered a respected trainer. His pharmacy ran well until 1933, when the Nazis came and they had to emigrate. In 1935, a purchase agreement was signed between Quermann and Littmann, but Quermann had not paid for the pharmacy. This delayed their departure until 1939, when the family moved back to the Littmann’s country of birth (USA). 1951 saw the restitution process and a claim by the Mohren Pharmacy on Littmann's part. He was supposed to pay 165,000 marks in compensation, but could not afford it.
