The large shop (from about 1720 repräsentative in the Alte Posthaus, Landhausstraße 13) employed and housed up to 70 jüdische employees who are not "vergleitet" - so without protection letter -

The Schönwald family emigrated to the USA in 1939. Today, a memorial stone inaugurated in 2008 commemorates the former department store and the Schönwald family.

Westfälische Metall-Industrie Aktien-Gesellschaft Lippstadt (1895-1911)
The old factory building on Hospitalstraße is currently empty (as of 2018). It has belonged to the city of Lippstadt for a long time. The hall is to be converted in the next few years into a depot for the city museum.
