An old Jewish cemetery is located on the Sundchaussee between Burg and Blischendorf. The plot is surrounded by a hedge. The last burial took place in 1879. When the Sundchaussee was extended in 1923/24, there were no more Jews on Fehmarn. A memorial stone erected in 1957 bears the inscription: "Former Jewish cemetery 1800-1879",

Martin and Herta Rechelmann lived in Cuxhavener Straße before the deportation. There the Stolpersteine could not be laid, because the street part no longer exists. Therefore, the stones were laid nearby - Bachstraße 1.
