Alfred Hamburger was born on October 25, 1882 in Meppen he was married to Jettchen Hamburger and had three children. In November 1939 they had to sell their house by force. On December 13, 1941, he was deported to the Riga ghetto and has since been considered missing.

Hermann Hamburger was born on February 25, 1887 in Meppen . On December 13, 1941, he was deported to the Riga ghetto and transferred to the Stutthof concentration camp. On 16 August 1944 his onward transport to Buchenwald concentration camp took place, where he was murdered on 1 March 1945.

Dietrich 'David' Hamburger was born on April 16, 1885 in Meppen. He fled in 1939 to his daughter to Winterswijk in the Netherlands. He üsurvived in hiding underground and died in an accident in 1958. He is buried in the Jüdische cemetery in Winterswijk.
