Dora Flom (b. October 15, 1906 in Reichenbach / Saxony) lived at Petzoldstraße 21 in Greiz from 1934 to at least 1937/38. From 1942 to 1945 she was in various concentration camps. On January 12, 1944, she and 23 other people were deported by train (transport number XVI/3) from Weimar to Theresienstadt. She was assigned the identification number 7. On May 16, 1944 - barely a month before the visit of the International Committee of the Red Cross - she was taken to Auschwitz as number 485 of a total of 2,500 people on the transport under the identification number Ea. From there she was deported to Stutthof on July 20, 1944. After the liberation of Stutthof by the Red Army on 09 May 1945, Dora Flom returned to Greiz.
In 1948 she lived in Greiz at Grünrathstra;e 8. After the war she married (married name: Weigel), but the marriage was divorced again – cf. Flach 1990 (sources). In May 1984 Dora Flom died.
