Louis Steigerwald founded the Steigerwald liqueur factory in 1869. Later, the sons Siegfried, Julius and Oskar Steigerwald inherited the liqueur factory "Steigerwald AG". From 1936, the so-called "Aryanization" of the company took place. At the end of 1937, the Steigerwald brothers transferred their shares to a Heilbronn bank under pressure. From then on, the company bore the name "Lucca". After the loss of the company, the Steigerwald couple moved to Berlin with daughter Suse Steigerwald. The daughter Edith Steigerwald had already emigrated to England in 1937.

On July 29, 1862, Wolf Manasse Wolf, who was born in Bieringen an der Jagst, was issued a certificate by the city of Heilbronn to legitimize his announcement submitted to the city council in Heilbronn that he wanted to operate a rag and country products business on his own account. As early as 1864, Wolf Manasse Wolf purchased a plot of land at Paulinenstraße 21 and built a residential and commercial building on it. The business was very successful, so that in 1871 and 1876 two adjoining buildings were newly equipped for the business. In 1900, a warehouse was added to a fourth building.

The rubber band weaving and suspenders factory J. Heymann was named after Jonas Heymann. Before he founded the business "Galanterie- und Kurzwaren en gros", he worked as a cutler in Fürth. His sons Adolf, Leopold and Sigmund Heymann later took over the business and together they founded the rubber band weaving and suspenders factory first in Königstraße. The first expansion of the business took place in Salzstraße. Finally, in 1905, a new building in Art Nouveau style was erected on the site of the old buildings in Schwabacher Straße 117/119.

In the magazine "Der Israelit" of April 30, 1903, the following advertisement is found - "For my on Saturday and israel. Holidays closed small hardware store, engros and details seek per immediate an apprentice with good schooling, from respectable family." E. Halle, Miltenberg am Main.

In the new Jewish cemetery in Miltenberg lies buried - Josef Halle.

Louis (Lazarus) Speyer was the owner of the grain trading business "Speyer Brothers". Louis Speyer built the building at Bahnhofstraße 44 in 1900. Louis Speyer died on April 28, 1930. In between, son Hugo Speyer took over the parental business, but then went into business for himself in 1920 and founded the "Getreide- und Mehlhandlung Hugo Speyer".
