Julius Prochownik was born in 1873 in Bromberg in East Prussia. He studied law in Göttingen and was baptized as a Protestant. At first he worked in law firms in Munich and Passau. In 1901 he married his first wife Kathinka. In 1903 he settled in Donauwörth and opened a law office in Schustergasse, which was highly regarded for three decades. From 1911 he lived at Reichsstra&szlig 36 with his wife and children Luise (1902) and Hermine (1910). In 1915 his wife Kathinka died.

Moses Rosenzweig was born in Cologne on August 7, 1840. His parents were Andreas Moises Rosenzweig, born in Euskirchen on August 23, 1808, and Jetta Gottschalk, born in Deutz in 1804. Moses Rosenzweig was married to Mina Lucas, b. September 25, 1841 in Warden. The couple had 4 children - Clara,b. 10 June 1875 - deported to Riga on 7 December 1941, Henriette, b. 13.März 1873 - d. 14. März 1873, Alfred, b. 7. December 1879 - deported to Riga on 7 December 1941, Ernst, b. 24. November 1881 - d. 1936. Moses Rosenzweig died in 1926 at the age of 85/86.
