Max Adler was, together with his brother Karl Adler, personally liable partner of the company Adler Bettfedernfabrik KG. Max Adler was married to Elise Adler, née Müller. Max Adler died in Munich on March 25, 1940 - cause of death unknown. His wife Elise Adler was with him on the transport Munich - Kowno on 20.11.1941. All persons of this transport were murdered in Kowno on 25.11.1941. The brother Karl Adler lost his life already on November 22, 1938 in Dachau.

On the history of the small Jewish community of Jáchymov - with the historical designation 'synagogue community Alt-Grimnitz' - very little information is available.
