The Jewish community in Berwangen in the district of Heilbronn in the northern part of Baden-Württemberg probably originated in the 17th century through the settlement of Schutzjuden by the local rulers, had a synagogue from 1771 and later also its own Jewish cemetery Berwangen, but experienced a gradual decline through emigration and emigration in the second half of the 19th century.
