Jewish community Angenrod

A Jewish community in Angenrod, a district of Alsfeld in the Vogelsbergkreis in Hesse, has been documented since 1736. Already in the middle of the 17th century the Jews Falck and Isaac are mentioned. The history of the Jewish community ended in 1942 with the deportation of the last eight Jewish residents.
