Jewish community Beiseförth

The Jewish community in Beiseförth in the Schwalm-Eder district of northern Hesse developed from its first beginnings in the 16th century and existed until the time of National Socialism. The community also included Jewish people living in Binsförth, Malsfeld, Neumorschen and Rengshausen. The community belonged with the others of the former district of Melsungen to the rabbinical district of Lower Hesse with headquarters in Kassel.
