Jewish community Gemünden

The Jewish community of Gemünden in the Westerwaldkreis (Rhineland-Palatinate) was a Jewish community whose roots date back to the Middle Ages. The Jewish community experienced its decline already in the middle of the 19th century and finally ceased to exist in 1934 in the course of the repressions against Jewish citizens during the time of National Socialism.
