The former Jüdische Friedhof Euskirchen (Kölner Straße) was located in the city center at the corner of Kölner Straße/Oststraße and was abolished in 1938 and built over in 1960 by the district court of Euskirchen üover. The cemetery was the second in Euskirchen (the old cemetery „Am Judenwall“ had been occupied from 1680 to 1835) and was occupied from 1834 to 1918. From 1913, the new Jewish cemetery in Frauenberger Strasse was used as a burial place.

" When the Sacred Heart Church was built in the center of Euskirchen at the beginning of the 20th century, many Catholics protested because it was inconceivable to build a Christian place of worship on a former Jewish cemetery. These discriminatory reactions in Euskirchen are not remembered by the Sacred Heart parish, which is currently celebrating its 100th anniversary. Yet on the plot of the new church - for about a century already - this small Jewish burial ground no longer existed. It had long been located outside the city walls, on Cölner Straße“, roughly on the site of today's district court. In 1919, the Jewish cemetery of the city of Euskirchen was moved to Frauenberger Straße, where it is still located today."
