Mainly due to the rural exodus in the late 19th century, the community decreased in size. In 1902 the synagogue building was sold because there were only two Jews left in the village. The cemetery was bought at the beginning of the 19th century and the last burial took place in 1920. The cemetery was almost completely destroyed during the November pogroms in 1938.
