Hermine Westheimer was born in M nchen on June 6, 1883. Her parents Salomon Ellinger, a merchant in M nchen and Karolina Ellinger, née Koch. On December 6, 1904, Hermine Westheimer married Dr. Max Ellinger, lawyer and councillor of justice, born on October 12, 1875 in München. In the announcements of the israel. Her husband, Dr. Max Ellinger, died on September 27, 1934 in Munich. In 1938, Hermine Ellinger lived and resided in Merano / South Tyrol. She was registered there on August 22, 1938 in the census of Jews living in Italy by the fascist authorities. On October 20, 1938, she fled to New York according to the Merano registration office.
