Eduard Lichtblau, known as " Rudolf " was born in Vienna on April 16, 1837. His parents were Jakob Lichtblau, born on April 14, 1811 in Senica ( Szenitz ) and Marie Lichtblau, née M ller, born on October 17, 1814 in Senica. Rudolf Lichtblau had five more siblings - Ignatz, born around 1835, - Adolf Lichtblau, born on May 29, 1840, - Antonia, born on January 2, 1842, - Theresia, born on May 23, 1844 and Leopold Lichtblau, born in 1848.Rudolf Lichtblau is also listed among the exhibitors in the catalog of the 1888 Vienna Jubilee Trade Show, - Rudolf Lichtblau, Meerschaum- und Bernsteinwaaren-Fabrikant, Wien, VI.
