The address book of the city of Munich from 1887 contains the following entries - Weil Moriz, grocer, Hartmannstr.7, - Weil Hermann, merchant, Ottostraße 5, - Geschäfts-Lokal Hartmannstraße 7 -  Moriz Weil was born in Wallerstein on February 13, 1814. The roots of his ancestors go back to 1653, when Nemb Weil was born in Wallerstein. Moriz Weil´s parents were Löw Isak Weil, born in Wallerstein in 1778, and Fradel Weil, née Hausmann from Harburg. Moriz Weil was married to Charlotte Gutmann, born in Hainsfarth in 1817. He had five other siblings - Abraham, Sofie, Beppi, Salomon and Simson. Moriz and Charlotte Weil had nine children - Julius, born in 1841, - Moritz Herman, born in 1844, - Sigmund, born in 1845, - Clara, born in 1847, - Anna, born in 1849, - Louis, born in 1851, - Elise, born in 1851, - Albert, born in 1852 and Auguste, born in 1856. The information from the 1887 Munich address book suggests that father Moriz and son Hermann ran a business together at Hartmannstr. 7. Moriz Weil died in Munich on July 28, 1892. His wife Charlotte died in the same year.
