Doctors Wilmersdörfer & Jeruchem

Dr. med. Albrecht Anton Wilmersdörfer, born in Bayreuth in 1899, came to Schönebeck as a young man. After the early death of his first wife Tina, he married a second time in 1930. With his second wife Anna, née Stein, and their son from his first marriage, he fled to Palastina in 1935 to escape Nazi harassment.

Dr. med. Max Jeruchem, born on 18.3.1890 in Lobsens / Posen province.

Max Jeruchum took over an existing practice in 1935. He was married to Margarete, née Petzall. The couple had two children, Hans-Günther and Ursula. Max Jeruchum was only allowed to treat Jewish patients. He lost his license in July 1938. In 1939, he and his family fled to India. They thus survived the Nazi terror. Max Jeruchem died on April 26, 1965 in Sydney.
