Baumwollw.- Waaren - Fabrik,Firma Moritz Eisner, Bahnhofstr.14- The address book and housing gazette of the city of Nordhausen from 1888 contains the following entries: Eisner Adolf, manufacturer, owner of the company Moritz Eisner, weaving mill for linen, cotton and half-linen goods, Bahnhofstr. 14 - Eisner Louis, merchant, Bahnhofstr. 14 - Eisner Minna, widow, reindeer, Bahnhofstr. 14 - In the "Allgemeine Zeitung des Judentums" of October 28, 1873 there is an advertisement in which Moritz Eisner is looking for an apprentice for his linen and cotton goods factory business for January 1, 1874. - Walter-Moritz Eisner was born on September 23, 1889 in Nordhausen. His parents were Adolf and Emma Eisner. Walter-Moritz Eisner was a merchant and factory owner. He was married to Else Sara, née Stern, born on November 12, 1890 in Nordhausen. The couple had two sons - Hans-Wolfgang, born on July 3, 1920 in Nordhausen and Adolf-Peter, born on October 14, 1921 in Nordhausen. Walter Moritz Eisner and his son Hans-Wolfgang were taken into protective custody on November 10, 1938 on the occasion of the Reich Pogrom Night. Walter-Moritz Eisner, Else Sara Eisner and their son Adolf-Peter emigrated to Baltimore in the USA in 1938. Son Hans-Wolfgang Eisner emigrated to England in 1939 and from there to Baltimore in the USA in 1940.
