T.10136 - The following entries can be found in the 1910 Munich address book: Schwed Heinrich, Kaufmann, Hermann Linggstr.6/2, Schwed Heinrich ("Weinschwed") Wein-und Spiritousen-Großhandlg, Hermann Linggstr.12, Schwed Jos., Kaufmann, (Fa.Heinrich Schwed), Hermann Linggstr.12. - Heinrich Schwed was born in Reichmannsdorf in the district of Bamberg in 1880. His parents were the merchant Max Schwed (1853-1930) and Ida Schwed, née Hirnheimer (1859–1928). He moved to Munich around 1900. From 1904 Heinrich Schwed was active as an advertising publisher, wine merchant and liqueur manufacturer. In July 1923, he opened a shop selling all kinds of arts and crafts in the Neuhausen district. Shortly afterwards, he opened an „arts and crafts workshop“, which he deregistered in February 1924. Heinrich Schwed continued to run his arts and crafts business until 1930. The following entry can be found in the 1933 address book: Heinrich Schwed, Schilder und Metallkunst, Sandstr.32/0 u.1. Mg - Whg. Jagdstr.9. In October 1938, the business was taken over in the course of the so-called "Aryanization". Heinrich Schwed was married to Helene, née Bacharach. The couple had two daughters - Ruth Sabine (1914-1987) and Hanna Susanna (1922-unknown). In the course of the Aryanization of his business, Heinrich Schwed emigrated with his wife Helene and daughter Hanna Susann to Buenes Aires. Daughter Ruth Sabine emigrated to the USA in 1939.
