The Allgemeine Wohnungs-Anzeiger nebst Adreß- und Geschäftshandbuch für Berlin, dessen Umgebungen und Charlottenburg - Ausgabe 1868 contains the following entry: Mamroth Eduard, Bank. und Producten-Geschäft, Jägerstraße 27.  - Eduard Mamroth was born on December 3, 1820 in Poznan ( Posen ). He was married to Emma Pringsheim, born around 1825 in Poznan (Posen). The couple had seven children. -  Albert, 1847-1911, - Hugo, 1847-1905, - Toni, 1859-??, Ulla Ulrike, 1859-1905, - Therese, 1863-1942, - Robert, 1864-1927, - Rosa, 1878-1929. The following occupations and activities of Eduard Mamroth are known: 1844 - bookseller in Poznan (Posen), - 1845 there are references to a commission and collection business in Poznan (Posen), - The following entry can be found in the Posen housing register of 1855: Mamroth Eduard, merchant, forwarding agent and city councillor, Gerberstr. 10.Eduard Mamroth was a co-founder of the Centralbank für Bauten and founded the Aktien-Terraingesellschaft Südende, which, however, had to cease its construction activities in 1878 as a result of the land crisis. The Centralbank für Bauten 1881 also went bankrupt. Where his Centralbank für Bauten-Villa once stood, there is now a music school. - Eduard Mamroth died in Berlin on October 21, 1900. He found his final resting place at the Jewish cemetery in Berlin-Weissensee.
