D9. - Schloß Moritz, banker, part of the Max Schloß company, Stettenstr. 16/1. - The text of the card also contains wishes for the Jewish New Year 1916 (Sept. 28/29, 1916 - Elul 5676 / Tishri 5677). - A large war memorial can be found in the Jewish cemetery on Haunstettener Straße. Under the inscription: DIE GEMEINDE IHREN GEFALLENEN SÖHNEN and soldierly symbols underneath are three large memorial plaques on which - from left to right - the names and further details of the fallen members of the community can be read - including - MORITZ SCHLOSS - banker - officer=deputy - born on July 29, 1879, - fallen on February 18, 1917.
