His parents were Jonas Billigheimer, born on March 30, 1829 in Heidelberg - died on October 28, 1903 in Munich and Sophie Billigheimer, née Kuhn, born on June 20, 1831 in Bad Buchau-Kappel. Julius Billigheimer was married to Emilie (Berta Sara) Nordschild, born on May 10, 1870 in Schweinfurt. The couple had three children - Julius Rudolf, born on May 12, 1894 - died on May 21, 1919 in Munich - Paula, born around 1895 - died around 1931 in Holland and Otto Adolf, born on April 11, 1896 - died on July 13, 1966 (70) in Bromley, England. After Adolf Einstein joined the business, the bedspring factory traded under the name " Billigheimer & Einsteim oHG ". From then on, Julius Billigheimer and his brother-in-law Adolf Einstein (married to Ida Nordschild) were the owners of Billigheimer & Einstein oHG. Around 65 workers and employees were employed there. Together they owned the house at Nockherstrasse 2. After the death of Adolf Einstein on February 3, 1938 in Munich and the emigration of Julius Billigheimer, the factory continued to be run by his sons until they also emigrated at the end of 1938.
