The address book of the city of Nürnberg from 1922 contains the following entry: Krailsheimer, Dr. Hans, Rechtsanwalt, Steingbühler Str.9, - Kanzlei Luitpoldstr.16. - Hans Krailsheimer was born in Nürnberg on January 29, 1888. After studying law in Geneva, Munich, Berlin and Würzburg, he obtained his doctorate in Erlangen in 1017 and was admitted to the bar. He subsequently worked primarily as an in-house lawyer for business associations. The Law on Admission to the Bar of April 7, 1933 with the Law on the Restoration of the Professional Civil Service of the same date allowed all non-Aryan lawyers to be disbarred as of September 30, 1933. Hans Krailsheimer's license to practice law was also revoked in September 1933. As a result, he emigrated to France via Czechoslovakia and Switzerland in October 1933. In 1938, his license was revoked and he was expelled from the German Reich. He was interned from 1939 to 1941. After the partial occupation of France, he fled to the unoccupied part of France. From 1945, Hans Krailsheimer earned his living from support he received from Jewish organizations. In 1954, he returned to Munich. On January 12, 1958, Hans Krailsheimer died in Munich and found his final resting place at the New Jewish Cemetery in Munich. - In addition to his work as a lawyer, Hans Krailsheimer was also active as a writer.
