Agnes Bernauerstr.11/0.  -  Elias Kahn, presumably the founder of the business, born on July 24, 1827 died in 1892 and found his final resting place in the Jewish cemetery in Altenstadt-Illereichen. His wife Therese Kahn, née Sulzer, died on June 26, 1903 and found her final resting place in a grave next to her husband. The couple had three sons - Albert, Leopold and Jonas. From 1925, Albert Kahn and his sons owned the department stores "Kahn & Söhne" Bayerstraße 47 (deregistered on March 21, 1934) and Westendstraße 30 (deregistered in October 1932). From May 1934 to December 1938, he ran a commission agency for textile goods at Agnesstraße 47/1. On July 10, 1942, Albert Kahn was deported from Munich to Theresienstadt and murdered there on February 2, 1944. His son Erwin Elias Kahn was already murdered in Munich on April 16, 1933.
