Richard Kohn was born on December 29, 1856 in Lipkowitz ( Lipkovice). His parents were Moritz Kohn and Sofie Sara Kohn, née Löw. Richard Kohn had five siblings - Albine, born on December 25, 1858, Gabriele, born on November 11, 1863, Ludwig, born on February 13, 1866, Joseph, born on February 18, 1869 and Victor, born on January 17, 1871. on February 18, 1869 and Victor, born on January 17, 1871. Richard Kohn was married to the daughter of Leopold and Luise Löw, née Fischel - Hermine Kohn, born on February 18, 1864 in Prague. Richard and Hermine Kohn had a daughter, Marie, born on August 12, 1886. Marie Kohn was married to Max Benedikt, born on June 12, 1883 in Auspitz. They were the parents of two daughters - Else, born on January 13, 1913 - deported on July 2, 1942 from Prague to Terezin - on July 28 from Terezin to Baranovici to her death, - Hilde, born on April 27, 1920 - deported on November 26, 1941 from Brno to Minsk and murdered there. Max and Marie Benedikt were also murdered in Minsk on November 26. - Richard Kohn had a metal goods business and a metal gallantry goods factory. He produced self-lighting lighters, cigarette cases and cigarette machines. The lighters are now coveted collector's items. Richard Kohn died on November 18, 1927 in Vienna and found his final resting place at the Central Cemetery Gate IV (New Israelite Cemetery) in Vienna. Hermine Kohn died on March 19, 1938 in Vienna.
