Everode Jewish Cemetery

The Jüdische cemetery Everode is located in the joint municipality Freden (Leine) in Lowerächsischen Landkreis Hildesheim. The cemetery is a protected monument.

At the southwestern edge of the village is a 165 square meters large Jüdischer private cemetery. The small Gräberfeld was acquired in 1878 by the resident merchant Samuel Levi Rosenbaum for the burial of his family members and is until today in the possession of the descendants. From 1907 to 1913, the Rosenbaum family with Gustav Rosenbaum provided the community leader of the synagogue community Everode, Groß Freden and Klein Freden,

On the cemetery are 6 tombstones preserved. An occupancy took place until 1918.

The gravesite was repaired in 1980 and 1997.
