Moses de Vries was born on December 20, 1875 in Haren . He was married to Ida de Vries and ran a livestock business in Lathen. He had been elected as synagogue leader of the Jüdische Gemeinde. On July 31, 1942 he was deported to the Theresienstadt ghetto and on September 23, 1942 further to the extermination camp Treblinka . He was later declared dead. At the laying of the Stolpersteine was Erna de Vries as Üsurvivor of the Holocaust present.

Ida de Vries was born on June 18, 1873 as Ida Jacobs in Lathen. She was married to Moses de Vries and had with him the two sons Ludwig and Joseph, who survived the Holocaust überlebt. On July 31, 1942, she was deported to the Theresienstadt ghetto and on September 23, 1942, further to the Treblinka death camp. Later she was declared dead.[3][2]

Rosette de Vries was born on February 15, 1912 as Rosette Jacobs in Sögel and lived in Lathen. She was married to Joseph de Vries and had a son. With him she left Lathen and moved to Hildesheim in February 1941. On July 10, 1942, she was deported from Bielefeld to the Auschwitz extermination camp and later declared dead.[4][2][5]
