Ida Steinburg was born on 29 February 1896 as Ida Dammann in Salzdetfurth . She had been widowed since the early 1930s and had two sons. On December 13, 1941, she was deported to the Riga ghetto and on August 9, 1944, to Stutthof concentration camp. She was later declared dead.
