Annelise Steinburg was born on October 6, 1921, the daughter of Israel and Minna Steinburg in Haselünne. After her deportation she was sent to the Auschwitz concentration camp on April 19, 1943 and in January 1945 she had to go on the death march to the west, which she üsurvived. As Alisa Schwarz she died on July 2, 2000 in Regba the north of Israel.

Paul Steinburg was born in Haselünne on January 4, 1924, the son of Israel and Minna Steinburg. He last lived in Berlin and was deported from there on December 14, 1942 to the Auschwitz extermination camp where he was murdered on January 12, 1943.
