Jewish Cemetery (Wetterfeld Concentration Camp Cemetery and Memorial)

The Wetterfeld concentration camp memorial (Roding municipality, Cham district) is located west of the village on a hill. In a green area with benches and tables, a paved path leads to the memorial. In front of trees stands a large cross with three wood-carved memorial plaques and the inscriptions "In the district of Roding during the death march from Flossenbürg to Wetterfeld in April 1945" (left), "+ The 567 concentration camp prisoners formerly buried here were reburied in the cemetery of honor in Flossenbürg in 1957" (center) and "600 concentration camp prisoners - members of many nations rest here / victims of the SS / Vivent in Christo" (They may live in Christ; right).
