Jewish cemetery (Steinrain (district of Mallersdorf) - concentration camp cemetery and memorial)

The concentration camp cemetery and the memorial are located on the road from Mallersdorf to Landshut/Regensburg, about 1 km behind Pfaffenberg or before Oberlindhart on the right side of the road. The 67 dead are victims of a death march from Buchenwald concentration camp to Flossenbürg concentration camp via Neunburg vorm Wald, Mallersdorf and Neumarkt-Sankt Veit. These victims were exhumed at the behest of the American military government and buried in April and May 1945 on newly purchased land in the Steinrain district.
