The cemetery in the Bärenschanzstraße was inaugurated in 1864 and closed in 1922.
The first burial took place in 1910 in the cemetery in the Schnieglinger Straße. He is until today the cemetery of the Jewish Community of Nuremberg.Medien

Beschreibung
Gravestone from the cemetery of the Jewish community of Nuremberg, desecrated and destroyed in 1349. It was used in the construction of the spiral staircase in the south tower of the parish church of St. Lorenz. Today it is located in the Tahara House of the cemetery of the Nuremberg Jewish Community.
