Jewelry manufacturer - Louis Kuppenheim

Louis Kuppenheim was born on August 2, 1824. He was married to Berta Kuppenheim, née Levinger, born on November 21, 1839. The couple had 10 children. Louis Kuppenheim died on January 19, 1889, and his wife Bertha Kuppenheim on January 2, 1926. The couple found their final resting place at the Jüdische Friedhof in Pforzheim.  Louis Kuppenheim was a jewelry manufacturer. In 1857, he founded Louis Kuppenheim G.m.b.H. In 1872, the company was rebuilt at Durlacher Strasse 1 in Pforzheim. The sons Albert Kuppenheim, Hugo Kuppenheim and Ernst Kuppenheim then managed the company together. In 1907, the company moved again to the newly built premises at 69 Durlacher Stra&szlig. In 1936, the premises at 69 Durlacher Stra&szlig were sold to a second-hand goods and car dealer
