Julius Mecca was born on January 16, 1843 in Neisse (Nysy). His parents were Salomon Simon Meyer Mecca and Caroline Mecca,née Ginsberg. Julius Mecca was married to Olga ( Rachel) Mecca, née Fränkel. The couple had two daughters - Lina, née Lewandoski, born 2.2.1875 and Dorothea, née Mosberg, born 1877. Louis Mecca died on 20.10.1915 in Kassel. Olga Mecca died in 1935.Lina Lewandowski was murdered on  13 May 1943 in Sobibór, Lublin. Dorothea Mosberg was murdered in Riga in December 1941. According to the entry in the address book Kassel from 1912, Theodor Mosberg was already the owner of the company Julius Mecca in 1912. In the address book of the city Kassel and surroundings from 1912, there is the following entry: Mecca Julius, Getreide-Großhandlung, Inh. Th. Mosberg, Bahnhofstra;e 27, - Mecca Jul. Rentner. Hohenz.- Str.8,  -  Mecca Max, pensioner, Wilhh. Allee 25. In the Adreesbuch from 1923 the following entry can be found: Mecca Julius, Getreide-Großh., Schomb.-Str.6  - Mecca Jenny, Rentnerin, Wilhh. Allee 25  - Mecca Olga, widow, pensioner, Ständeplatz 7.
