Short, gallantry and toys wholesale - Feldmann & Tanne

Simon Tanne and Chiel Feldmann founded already before the 1st World War a wholesale with short, gallantry - and toys, which they later expanded to a department store chain with branches in Stuttgart  (Tübinger Str. 6, Kleine Königstr. 1, Karlstr. 5-7, Kronprinzenstr. 30-32)  Ebingen, Reutlingen and  Augsburg. In the years 1933 - 1939 the shops were subject to the boycott calls of the National Socialists and in the course of the " Aryanization of Jewish businesses, shops and companies " finally Aryanized.

Simon Tanne was deported on 22.08.1942  üvia Stuttgart – Killesberg - Nordbahnhof to Theresienstadt. From there his ordeal led one month later to the extermination camp Maly Trostinec and further to Treblinka, where Simon Tanne was murdered.
