Martin Joachim Reichenbach, born on March 8, 1879 in Oederan, studied law in Leipzig, then lawyer at the Labor and Regional Court of Dresden and notary in his office, Wilsdruffer Straße 32. 1933 withdrawal of the license, henceforth only private clients. He was also an emigration advisor for the Jewish community in Dresden. 1938 - Deportation to Dachau, from there released severely injured.Martin Joachim Reichenbach and his wife Lotte Reichenbach had 2 children - Ursula Eva, born on July 24, 1912 and Claus Peter, born on April 20, 1920 in Dresden.Both children still managed to escape to saving foreign countries (England).Martin Jochim Reichenbach and his wife Lotte had to move into one of the so-called Jewish houses on Strehlener Straße 52. On November 23/24, 1942, they were relocated to the "Judenlager Hellerberg". On March 2, 1943, they were deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau. Martin Joachim Reichenbach is said to have died either on the way of transport or, presumably like his wife Lotte, shortly after arrival in Auschwitz.
