Front page: After the Chief Rabbi Dr. Loewi here has paid in the two hundred florins bequeathed by Mr. David Noerdlinger in Pflaumloch to the hospital fund and sent by Mr. Legal Counsel Noerdlinger as executor of the will, it is hereby attested to him that the hospital has assumed the obligation to say the ritual prayers in the hospital synagogue every year on the anniversary of Mr. David Noerdlinger, who died on September 6, 1870, that is, Elul 10, 5630 in Pflaumloch. Reverse: The Jewish Hospital Fürth, which has existed for more than a hundred years, was newly built in 1846 at a cost of 30,000 fl. and significantly enlarged in 1864 at a cost of 12,000 fl. It consists of a boarding house and an infirmary. In the former, needy healthy persons receive complete care for the rest of their lives, and in the latter, the sick receive appropriate medical treatment and care. The management of the hospital is carried out by the board of the The administration of the hospital is managed by the board of the Jewish Community and the Jewish Commission for the Poor, and is supervised by a daily inspection by a poorhouse keeper. The hospital physician and the hospital wound doctor are responsible for the medical treatment of the sick. The capital stock of the hospital's fund is unassailable and is a foundation intended only for Jewish members of the faith in the sense of Title IV. §In the house synagogue, daily services are held, in which all inpatients and sick people in the hospital take part - as far as their health permits - under the supervision of an orderly.
