Cattle dealer - Alex Falk

Alex Falk was a cattle dealer in Beckum. When there were severe riots in Beckum during the Night of Broken Glass on November 9, 1938, Alex Falk was also a victim. In their destructive urge, National Socialists forced their way into Alex Falk's apartment, devastated it and maltreated the 81-year-old so severely that he died two days later on November 11, 1938, in the hospital in Münster as a result of the maltreatment. At Nordstraße 16 in Beckum, where his apartment was located, three Stolpersteine commemorate the fate of Alex Falk, his housekeeper Regina Nordstein and Elisabeth Linnhoff, who tried to help him.
