Wittenberg, Ernst Herbert

Ernst Herbert Wittenberg was born in Berlin on July 9, 1913, the second son of Sally David Wittenberg and his wife Margarete, née Goldstrom (see Margarete Wittenberg). Ernst Herbert Wittenberg was warned of his arrest in 1936, whereupon he fled via Denmark to Yugoslavia, where he met his future wife Michal Noyek. In 1938 they both immigrated to Palestine us and lived in Kibbutz Givat Brenner. Ernst Herbert Wittenberg worked there as a truck driver. His marriage produced three children
