Wachsner, Jenny

Jenny Breith was born in Breslau on December 19, 1867, the daughter of Adolf Breith and his wife. She married Isidor Wachsner and lived with him in Ohlau. The children born were: Alfred in 1886, Gertrud in 1887, Rudolf in 1894 and Else in 1897. Then the family moved to Berlin where another 3 children were born. Isidor Wachsner ran a shoe factory, then a glow light company and then a construction company until he died in 1922. Jenny Wachsner lived with her handicapped daughter Gertrud and her son Richard in Lessingstraße in 1933, then in Güntzelstraße as a subtenant.In 1939 Jenny and Gertrud Wachsner moved to Luitpoldstraße 4 ( today 40) as subtenants to Margarethe Werner. In 1942 Jenny Wachsner was in the Jewish Hospital, from there she was deported to Theresienstadt, where she was murdered on March 3, 1944.
