Peiser, Lotte Alice

Lotte Alice Peiser was born in Berlin on July 4, 1921, the third child of Heinrich Peiser, a liquor manufacturer, and his wife Gertrude Trude née Mendelssohn. Their siblings were Annemarie (born February 1, 1910 in Posen) and Hans-Günther (born and died in 1920). The family moved to Berlin and in 1921 lived first at Neue Bayreuther Strasse 8 (today Welserstraße) at the corner of Viktoria-Luise-Platz, later in the house Viktoria-Luise-Platz 5 IV. OG. Heinrich Peiser bought both houses. Lotte's sister Annemarie studied medicine, first at Humboldt University, later in Geneva, where she met the Turkish law student Lütvi Sav, with whom she moved to Ankara as a finished gynecologist.
