Julius Berolzheimer was the son of Daniel and Friederike Berolzheimer and was born in Fürth on June 13, 1835. He was a brother of Heinrich Berolzheimer. He was a law clerk in Bamberg, royal advocate, lawyer and judicial councilor in Fürth. He died on August 24, 1895. Julius Berolzheimer was married to Cerline Adlerstein from Bamberg. Their common son Dr. jur. Fritz Berolzheimer also became a lawyer in Fürth.

In 1878 he finished his law studies. Just four years later he worked as an assessor at a court in Berlin to gain professional experience.

On April 30, 1883, he married his Jewish wife Clara Meyer, daughter of the university professor Prof. Dr. med. Joseph Meyer. In the course of their marriage, the Jewish couple had three children.
