Lilli Lippmann was born in Schneidemühl on June 24, 1922, the daughter of the merchant Erich Lippmann and his wife Käte, née Baumann. Her twin sister was Alice. Then the family moved to Berlin, in 1930 they lived in Goßlerstraße 11, from 1938 in Beckerstraße 5 in Schöneberg.

Käte Baumann was born into a Jewish family in Schneidemühl on January 21, 1893.

Erich Lippmann was born into a Jewish family in Schneidemühl on October 13, 1889.
