Jewish cemetery (Sayn)

The Jewish cemetery in Sayn, a district of the city of Bendorf in the administrative district of Mayen-Koblenz in Rhineland-Palatinate, was established after 1723. The Jewish cemetery is located south of the core village at an altitude of about 150 m above sea level in a wooded area. The closed cemetery can be reached from the south via the Meisenhofweg. On the other hand from the center of the village via a partly steep and badly passable footpath. This footpath connects to the Heinzenweg and ends since its installation in recent times at a wire mesh fence surrounding the cemetery. Previously, it led across the cemetery, as this opening middle path to the access on the east side.
