The Steigfriedhof in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt from the end of the 6th century is the oldest cemetery in Stuttgart. It is located in Altenburg, now a district of Bad Cannstatt, on an elevation opposite the old town, about 500 meters from the Neckar River. Opposite the Steigfriedhof is the Israelite cemetery from 1872.
